About the author (2009)

Jenny Heaton has been involved in table tennis for over forty years and played at town, county, league and international levels. For over twenty years she has been a table tennis coach, tutor and assessor. She was national coach for the England cadet and junior squads for seven years. As a teacher, Jenny has always been interested in coach education and has helped to write two English Table Tennis Association [ETTA] manuals. In 2007 she co-authored the Butterfly skills programme and the following year she revised all the ETTA coaching awards. Resident - Lancashire
